Join our multi-specialty medical center in the heart of Brooklyn! This office is equipped with great healthcare professionals and utilizes the latest medical techniques including aquatic therapy, S&L therapy, and occupational therapy. As a Medical Assistant you will be assisting with procedures and helping our patients under the supervision of our physicians and nurses. Your goal is to give patients an exceptional experience by understanding their needs and concerns!

Responsibilities
- Obtain, handle and update confidential medical records
- Assist doctors by pre-screening patients and taking vitals
- Triaging, phlebotomy and recording diagnostic laboratory test results
- Communicate basic clinical information to staff and patients
- Accommodate patients throughout their visit
- Perform a clinical review of charts for upcoming appointments
- Front and back office versatility
- Other medical assistant duties
Requirements
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with patient intake, including monitoring vitals, drawing blood, and patient screening
- Basic familiarity with EMR systems
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
