Coastal Anti-Aging Medical Group is a functional and internal, concierge medical practice which offers personalized care for its patients.
This practice is seeking a certified medical assistant who can also perform front and back office duties.
Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
Job Duties
- Front and back office duties
- Checking in patients
- Taking calls from patients, pharmacies, and hospitals with pleasant phone etiquette
- Verifying patient and insurance information
- Perform preliminary physical tests (checking blood pressure, weight, temperature)
- Respond to patient inquiries and pharmacy requests
Competencies
- Knowledge of billing codes and maintain medical records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and efficient
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter as well as a team player
- Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
- Comfortable with email and using internet applications
- Experience with EMR and willing to learn a new system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and current CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Medical assisting: 1 years (preferred)
